In late July we went to the Maasai Mara and stayed in a neighboring conservancy called Ol Kinyei at the Porini camp. We got a tent with a small stream opposite us, and after we got settled in, had lunch. We went for a game-drive in the conservancy followed by Sun-downers. When we got back to camp we had showers and then got ready for dinner followed by campfire stories about the day of game viewing. We got up at the crack of dawn and went to the main Maasai Mara. We were presented with 2 cheetahs on a kill, then drove to the other ridge and saw the Tano Bora (The 5 Brothers) who managed to take down a adult wildebeest. We were fortunate to see The Great Wildebeest Migration at The Sand River. After many more fantastic viewings, we returned home to the camp. After dinner we went for a Night Game-Drive. It was great fun but extremely chilly. The following day we left for Nairobi, just as we were leaving the conservancy, we were surprised by a Male and Female lion. It was a amazing trip and I really enjoyed it. Thanks to Porini Ol Kinyei.
